Commercial licence¶
# Commercial License
trusty-sim is dual-licensed: a research licence (LICENSE-BINARY.txt) for
research, academic and non-commercial use, or a commercial license.
To obtain a commercial license, contact Ty Trusty at ty.trusty@mail.utoronto.ca.
The examples¶
The scripts in the examples repository are MIT-licensed, a separate licence from the library's. They need trusty-sim to run, which is under the licences above.
Third-party components¶
The wheels include third-party components used under their own licences. Their
notices are in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md, inside the installed package. To read it,
and the licence files above, with the package installed:
python -c "import importlib.metadata as m; print(m.distribution('trusty-sim').read_text('licenses/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md'))"
For the GPU build, use the name trusty-sim-cuda12. If you use trusty-sim in
your research, please cite it.
